We have recently discovered that Booger eats at least four houses in the neighborhood. Having been born across the street, he naturally believes that he has two homes since our neighbors are nice enough to love him the way we do. Not to mention, his mother lives across the street so they pal around together in search of all the neighborhood cat food they can find. This has resulted in Booger gaining a significant amount of weight for an outdoor kitty.
Gaining weight in the summer in North Carolina is not a good idea when you are already a black cat. This boy gets HOT! In the last month, I see him sprawled out, as flat and stretched out as a board...or road kill, and he can't even be bothered to move. It's the funniest thing to witness this funny little guy with his legs as wide as they will go and his arms lifted over his head.
Let's face it, Booger has a really sweet life and from what I can tell, he loves it. Humor me a minute and check out some pics of our lil' Boog.
