Illusions: Adventures of a Reluctant Messiah Parable

"Believe me: I am in my Father and my Father is in me. If you can’t believe that, believe what you see—these works. The person who trusts me will not only do what I’m doing but even greater things, because I, on my way to the Father, am giving you the same work to do that I’ve been doing. You can count on it."  John 14: 11-13

Have you ever thought about this scripture passage? Jesus is making a promise here. Do you believe the truth  he is sharing? This parable was both exciting and challenging to me.  Did it make you uncomfortable? Do you feel empowered? What is your blink reaction to this message?

This parable was told by  Richard Bach in his book Illusions: Adventures of a Reluctant Messiah and the cartoon version of this parable was created by Patch Parables.
